Buster Lee Davis
Buster is a 7.5 year old shih-tzu who came to the Humane Society as a stray. He is a wonderful guy who has the typical shih-tzu personality. He especially enjoys cuddling with that special person. Buster loves playing outside (even in the snow) and will use the bathroom outside if he is taken out on a regular basis. Buster would love to be in a home with someone who would treat him like he is their son. Buster has been the Humane Society of Greater Dayton mascot now for a couple years, living here at the shelter. We believe that he would have a much better life in a quiet, stable home where he can also get more attention. He needs to go to a home without cats, as he does not like them. He will get along with dogs, though, in a calmer environment than the environment we can offer him here. Buster does have a heart murmur, which means that his life could suddenly be cut short and will likely have to be on medicine the rest of his life. You would never know by how active he is, though, that he has any health condition whatsoever. We at the Humane Society feel that he deserves to live out whatever is left of his hopefully long life in a happy home full of the comforts that he has never known.
