Photo of Pablo
Pablo
Pablo is a 2 year old Bordeaux (a French mastiff). We transferred this sweet "giant" into our shelter from another small animal shelter, who felt that we would be better equipped at finding him the right home. He was turned into their shelter by his owner who was being sent to prison. Pablo is a great guy and very loved by everyone he meets. He has been diagnosed by a vet with a neurological disorder called "wobblers." This syndrome is something that he is going to have to deal with the rest of his life, but our vet does not feel that he is in pain or in need of any surgery or medication right now. The disorder has the potential to get worse as he gets older, but really his only symptoms right now are that he "wobbles" when he walks and runs and sometimes his legs "buckle" under him. He basically just looks a little "sloppy" or "goofy" when he runs :) He would do best as the only pet in the home, as he has had some aggression issues with other animals, but NOT with people. For that reason, we will ONLY adopt him out to a home where he can be the only pet. We want to see this handsome fella in a safe, secure home where he will be showered with the love and attention that he deserves! He would make a great family dog in a home with older or no children. He's waiting to meet you today!
