16th Annual Spay Day USA
The 16th Annual Spay Day USA is finally here. Spay Day USA is a national event which takes place the last Tuesday in the month of February. This years date is February 23rd. The HSGD will be selling vouchers for low cost spay/neuter surgery. This procedure will be preformed by participating local veterinarians (see list below).
In some circumstances availability is limited. Vouchers may be purchased at the Humane Society of Greater Dayton February 16th to the 23rd, during normal operating hours. MeowZa, at the Dayton Mall will also be selling them during business hours the 16th through the 23rd. Offsite sales will be at all Complete Petmart locations Saturday, February 20th and Sunday, February 21st from noon to 4pm.
Prices:
Male cat: $35
Female cat: $45
Male dog: $55
Female dog: $75
After purchasing the vouchers the owner is responsible for calling their clinic of choice and scheduling their appointment. All animals must be current on all vaccines. Any additional charges are the responsibility of the pet owner.
